VANAISE Skincare Campaign

The Challenge

Vanaise, a new Norwegian skincare startup, sought a visually captivating campaign to define their brand identity and launch their product line. The goal was to balance Scandinavian minimalism with a golden, sensual, and luxurious aesthetic that communicated the brand's premium quality and indulgent appeal.

The Solution

The shoot was staged at the iconic Hotel Sanders in Copenhagen, selected for its timeless elegance and warm, intimate atmosphere. Collaborating with Oslo-based Høien Design, we crafted a visual narrative that highlighted the brand’s luxurious yet natural ethos. Key creative elements included:

  • Lighting: We used soft, golden tones to evoke warmth and sensuality, with carefully positioned light creating a glowing, radiant ambiance.

  • Styling: Minimalist setups featuring organic textures and muted tones were enhanced with gold accents to underline the brand’s luxury positioning.

  • Composition: Close-up shots emphasized the tactile nature of the products, capturing the richness of their textures and creating an intimate, aspirational feel.

Luxury Men’s Cashmere

Geyed Activewear Campaign

The Challenge

Geyed, a small-batch activewear brand known for its thoughtful and conscientious approach to design, needed a diverse range of visuals to represent their 2022 campaign. Over the course of a week in Miami, we shot editorial, e-commerce, and product-focused content, creating a rich portfolio that would fuel Geyed's digital presence for the entire year. Key creative decisions included:

  • Editorial Shots: Captured dynamic, high-energy moments in natural Miami settings, reflecting the active, conscious lifestyle of the brand’s target audience.

  • E-Commerce & Product Photography: Clean, detailed shots of the activewear to highlight the materials, craftsmanship, and functional design of each piece.

Case Study: Tabio USA

The Challenge

Tabio Socks, a Japanese-founded sock brand now available internationally, needed clean, color-accurate images to serve as the primary e-commerce visuals for their 2023 product line. While staying true to the functional needs of e-commerce, they wanted the imagery to stand out and convey a fashion-forward, elevated aesthetic.

The Solution

To achieve the desired look, we utilized:

  • Lighting: A Profoto parabolic umbrella for soft yet dynamic light, which added depth and a polished, high-end feel to the images.

  • Lenses: Wide fixed Sony lenses to create sharp, detailed shots while capturing the texture and unique features of each sock.

  • Styling: Carefully planned looks, compositions, and poses to emphasize the product's quality and versatility.

The Results

The final images struck a perfect balance between clean e-commerce functionality and bold fashion-forward style. They were prominently used across Tabio's online store, enhancing their brand image and elevating the shopping experience for their customers.

Small batch, thoughtful, conscientious activewear. 2022 campaign shot for Geyed in Miami, Florida. We shot editorial, e-commerce, and product over the course of a week. The content populated the website and allowed them to have enough content for the year.

Contemporary Luxury

Billie Todd is a luxury men’s cashmere brand combining the best Scottish milled cashmere and craftsmanship with contemporary designs. Designed in the US and made in Scotland.

We created clean flat lay and on model e-comm images as well as outdoor editorial lifestyle shots for their web and social.

It was important to us to have someone that made the models comfortable and relaxed and with COVID-19 restrictions she was accommodating, attentive and polite. Jewelry Inspired BY History, Art, & Travel

Already having e-commerce imagery, Michelle was looking to tell the story of her classic jewelry inspired by history, art, and travel. We shot on-model editorial as well as tabletop still-lives and founder headshots for her team to use on web and social.

For our first photoshoot launching our brand, we contacted several highly recommended photographers, including Siobhan. She immediately got back to us and we feel like we won the lottery. She guided us through the process and gave us great advice and recommendations throughout. She was always upbeat, friendly, and approachable in the run-up to the photoshoot and always steered us in the right direction. Island Vibes

Slip77 is retail boutique located on the island of Martha's Vineyard, retelling the island's revolution, one t-shirt at a time. We shot e-commerce and editorial both in and outdoors and chose a beachy wood background instead of a classic white to emulate the brand’s island vibes.

Siobhan's work has elevated our store from the appearance of a small brick and mortar to a real, legitimate brand. Her eye for detail, creativity, and ability to execute *exactly* the aesthetic we are looking for every single time has been incredible. I trust her artistic vision implicitly and so appreciate her ability to execute a project autonomously only to deliver the final product better than we ever could have envisioned. Botanik

modern Scandinavian floral design

Our goal was to capture imagery that felt approachable to the modern Norwegian shopper. As Botanik had recently shifted to an online platform, it was important to the client to make sure the photos represented exactly what the customer would receive in each order. As a result, I kept the retouching to a minimum, and while I used studio strobes to light the shot, I maintained a natural feel to the lighting pattern.
